An Australian actor, Travis Fimmel, best known for his huge role as Ragnar Lothbrok in a popular TV show “Vikings“, brings the relief to his fans upon discovering that his character will be a part of “Vikings Season 5“. However, the viewers can’t be at peace for a very long time since the series will be given some major twists during this season. Changes that are rumored suggest that no one is safe.
The new season includes a chain of events which become more volatile as the show progresses and so, some of the central and beloved characters might be expected to end their appearance in the next few episodes. Despite the rumors that one of those characters might be Ragnar, it is confirmed that Travis Fimmel is still shooting the scenes for the Season 5, something that Travis himself admitted in his talk with IGN. However, many characters will be replaced by the new ones, which means that many new actors will be joining the cast. Apart from the renewed cast, one of the major changes will also be the setting for the show.
The new season will continue where the Season 4 stopped so expect to see more action. The show continues to depict the increasingly complicated relations between Ragnar’s descendants Ivar The Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen), Sigurd (David Lindström), Hvitserk (Marco Islo) and Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith), which have reached its peak in the Season 4. The History Channel will air the second half of Season 4 on Nov 30, while the very anticipated Season 5 is expected only in 2017.
