Update On How Long The Shield Will Last

After three and a half years since Seth Rollins broke up one of the most famous factions in the WWE of all time, the company has decided that it is time for the big trio to be put back together and make their return. The Shield is back, and their first match is going to be at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay per view, where they will be outnumbered by the team that is led by The Miz.

Brock Lesnar is not going to appear on this show, which means that the Universal Championship is not going to be in the main event of this one. John Cena is also not going to be on the WWE TV for a while, and the company needed to create some kind of a main event draw for this pay per view. It is the reason why they went with The Shield reunion and why Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns are going to join forces.

The other big reason for this reunion is the fact that WWE wants to boost Roman Reigns as a babyface and give him something to do before the road to Wrestlemania begins and he starts his run towards Brock Lesnar in his fourth main event in a row.

Right now, it seems that The Shield is not going to be just a one-month thing as they are advertised for the Live Show at the Madison Square Garden on December 26th. It means that the group will likely break up before the Royal Rumble in January. The question is whether or not it happens quietly or does somebody turn heel?
