Video games are one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century and virtual reality is a reality where we had a chance to see a great deal of car games. It doesn’t matter whether you are a console gamer or a PC gamer, at least once in your life you have enjoyed a car game. Don’t we all remember the beloved Microsoft’s Midtown Madness or Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit on PS1? These games made us, these games were an essential part of our childhoods, these games made us love cars.
Nowadays we enjoy Gran Turismo, Forza, Dirt and numerous other quality video games of 2017 but let’s go back and look into how things started. Let’s take a deeper look at beginnings of car video games. We combined a list for you where we went almost 40 years back in search of those pioneer car video games, we searched for roots but we also mentioned some modern titles.
