It’s the end of the saga, at least for now. Tony Romo has decided to step aside and let Dak Prescott be the quarterback of the best team in the NFC. Jerry Jones didn’t have the guts to come out and give the job to Dak Prescott, but Tony Romo has done that on Tuesday.

Romo stated that he wants to be the quarterback of this team, but that he is not blind to the fact that Dak Prescott has ben phenomenal this season and that this squad is playing winning football. Tony told reporters that it’s tough for hm to miss almost two whole seasons because of the injuries and that he wants to get back to his position of being the quarterback of this team but will support Dak as long as he needs.

His team is winning games and team is what Tony Romo puts ahead of everything. He doesn’t want to be the one to kill Cowboys momentum. Dak Prescott has earned the right to be the quarterback and to lead his company and obviously he is going forward.

Tony also said that the fact that he hasn’t won the championship is a bit tough for him. He was a good quarterback for this franchise but just couldn’t get the job done.

He finished off his statement by saying that he has the back of Dak Prescott and that he knows that rookie signal caller has his back as well. He just wants what is the best for the team this year, and he realises that Prescott gives them the best chance of winning their first Super Bowl in 20 years. Grat job Romo, we really like the fact that you fully support Dak.
