The “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 has, to the fans dismay, bypassed 2016 as its release didn’t happen as it was expected. Now the new rumor has it that the release has been set for March 2017. Apart from that, a new ghoul investigator will apparently show up in the long-awaited new season.

As it seems, this postponement of the release date happened due to insufficient material that should be used for the next installment. Also, another reason could also be series involvement with franchise’s manga series which caused the delay.

What’s more, “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 seems to be taken over by Madhouse Entertainment from Pierrot Studio, and this could also be seen as one of the possible causes for postponement.

As for the aforementioned new ghoul investigator, he is said to make his appearance in the new season. His name will be Haise Sasaki but as many will realize, his true identity is Ken Kaneki, who has taken over this new identity due to problems with his memory.

There are apparently some uncertainties about the series production as well.

Taking all information into account, there were many obstacles that could have caused the postponement of the next season. But what is important is that despite everything, the rumors about its release date still exist and circulate the Internet. We know that some episodes are already finished, but for the show to get another season, it will take more than that.
