Seven Cowboys Ranked In NFL Network’s Top 100 Players

Top 100 NFL Players are revealed each and every year before the season starts. After the kind of season that the Dallas Cowboys had, it’s no wonder that they have seven players among NFL’S Top 100. For six of the seven players, we know where they are ranked, while Ezekiel Elliot’s final position will be revealed next week as he has made it into top 10.

Among those six players, the highest ranked player is Dak Prescott who is deemed 14th best player in the NFL going into 2017 NFL season. What is even more intriguing is the fact that he is ranked as the fifth best signal caller in the game, only behind Brady, Rodgers, Ryan, and Carr. He is above players like Big Ben, Cam Newton, Drew Brees and other big names in the business. Just to show you how much these ranking change on a year to year basis, last year, the No.1 ranked player in the NFL was Cam Newton. This year, he is 44th best.

Tyron Smith is the second-ranked Dallas Cowboys player of those six guys as he comes in at spot No.18. He is the best-ranked offensive lineman in the NFL as nobody that plays in the O-line is above him.

While Prescott’s and Smith’s position were revealed this Monday, we already knew where the other four Cowboys are placed. The Cowboys have two more offensive linemen in the Top 100 as Travis Frederick is ranked 87th best while Zack Martin came as the 58th top player in the NFL. Dallas Cowboys No.1 wideout Dez Bryant landed at the 60th position, while the only defensive player that the ‘Boys have on this list is Sean Lee who is placed 79th on this Top 100 list.
