“We’ve picked some of the most talked about stories in history and are going to unpack the truth for our audience,” says Johnson. “We are excited to have Jenks on board to help share these stories and utilize a medium of storytelling the Seven Bucks team hasn’t used before.”

Each episode of the podcast is going to deal with a different character. Having said that, people will hear details, they were perhaps unfamiliar with, about Muhammad Ali, Princess Diana, Michael Jordan, Adolf Hitler and even Chris Christie. Some of the stories which will be covered are Britney Spears’ 2007 breakdown and Michael Jordan’s break from basketball and actual reasons behind it.

Even though Seven Bucks Productions is the widely acknowledged for its TV and film projects such as HBO’s Ballers and new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which premieres December, What Really Happened? is the first podcast by the company. The brand is expanding, and the company has recently announced the launch of an ad agency.

The first episode of What Really Happened? is going to debut on October 25. 2017 on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and the other places you get your podcasts from.
