Shows after Wrestlemania are perfect for the debuts of new stars as the company is trying to hit a reset button on all of their storylines and begin a new chapter. One of the biggest, if not the biggest star that made its debut after the greatest show of the year was Shinsuke Nakamura. He is on the Smackdown Live right now, and fans have really high expectations when it comes to the King of Strong Style.

Nakamura is one of the most popular stars in the WWE right now as his charisma and work in the ring have earned him a lot of respect all around the world. Shinsuke is a unique talent that should fit nicely on the Blue brand. Because he is as good as he is and as popular as anybody in the world of wrestling today, fans want to see him rise to the top and succeed on the main roster.

If the company is smart, they are going to save his climb to the top for later as it will have much more meaning and excitement as well as fan engagement. Right now, they should keep building him up while also introducing him to the casual fans that maybe don’t know who he is.

They are going to have him feud with Dolph Ziggler, which is a nice setup for him. They have been working dark matches for a couple of reasons. First, they want the crowd to stay after Smackdown Live, so 205 Live has more fans in the stands watching. Also, WWE wants to save Ziggler vs. Nakamura 1-on-1 duel for Backslash PPV as they want them facing on TV for the first time at PPV and not on Tuesday Nights. So, expect Nakamura to feud with Dolph in the next couple of weeks.
