New Match Announced For WWE Clash Of Champions

The final PPV of this year is going to be a blue branded event in TD Garden, Boston. Clash of Champions is looking like a decent pay per view, but it’s not going to be a must-see. In fact, we haven’t had a big Smackdown Live PPV since Money in the Bank with two ladder matches. Clash of Champions is not going to top what that event delivered.

The show will be headlined by Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles. The Modern Day Maharaja is going to try to win back the WWE Championship that Styles took just less than two weeks before the Survivor Series.

Right now, the WWE is trying to build up the mid-card and the undercard. They made a step in that direction when they announced a new battle that will take place at the show.

At the beginning of Smackdown Live, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to brag what they did to Randy Orton and how they outsmarted Shane McMahon and the system. Well, you know that Randy was not going to stand and take what these two are saying, so he came out of nowhere and used the RKO on Kevin Owens.

Shane then scheduled the match between Sami and Randy later in the night, and he also announced that Orton would pick a partner to face Owens and Zayn at Clash Of Champion.

In the final clash of the night, Nakamura showed up to make the save, and there is a good chance that he is going to be Randy Orton’s partner. Before SD Live went off the air, Shane announced that he will be the guest referee in that match which is going to add another layer to the battle during the Clash of Champions.
