Jeep Grand Wagoneer astonishing new render

Even though we know little about the project of Grand Wagoneer, recently we acquired a new rendering of the future vehicle, and it helped us realize what this model could potentially look like. The official launch is expected to be in the next few years.

A few of photos leaked last October from a dealer presentation, and the front end of the car looks exactly the same as in this render. The design features lower LED daytime running lights, dual LED headlights, modified grille and lower front bumpers. All of that gives out the impression of Jeep’s trademark elegance.

When it comes to body Jeep didn’t change much. There is nothing out of the ordinary there that would separate this model from its predecessors. There are only some minor modifications. We will have a full-size third row in this vehicle which means that it will be a few inches longer when it comes to length. We don’t know much about the rear end of the SUV since we can’t see it from this render but LED lighting setup will replace the traditional Grand Cherokee one. Exhaust tips will also be more noticeable since this vehicle will feature new rear diffuser.

However, we also have some bad news for potential buyers. The company reported a few engineering problems. Apparently, the problem is that Grand Cherokee platform cannot adapt to a larger segment. And even with that ‘minor setback’ company officials announced that they will continue with the project. All of these claims come from ‘Warren Truck Assembly’ plant in Michigan where this SUV will be produced.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Release Date and Price

If the company manages to fix these problems, the vehicle is expected to launch in 2019. The possible price will be somewhere from $130,000 to $140,000 for the Grand Wagoneer according to Mike Manley (Jeep CEO). There were some rumors that Jeep could also offer its customers two varieties of the SUV. One should be a more exclusive and premium Grand Wagoneer which will, of course, be more expensive and a lower trim Wagoneer which will be more budget-friendly. However, this is all to be taken with a pinch of salt since there is no official word on this matter.

Numerous fans around the world are eagerly waiting for this car’s debut and even though Jeep wasn’t looking so sharp because of those above mentioned ‘minor setbacks’ we are sure that they won’t disappoint their customers. So hang in there and wait a bit more.
