Apple is a massive technology company and the leaks sometimes flow freely. The latest set of information from Cupertino tells us a little bit more about the new iPhone 8 prices and these details are coming directly from Mac Otakara, which is a reliable source.

Just for the record, Mac Otakara was the first one to state that the new iPhone 7 would come out without the headphone jack and they were right. Moreover, the info about the iPhone prices comes also from KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo who is one of the best Apple analysts.

Design

The design of the new smartphones will be the pretty much the same as the looks of the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Better chipsets and enhanced cameras will be some of the novelties on new gadgets, but reports are also saying that it will come in red color.

The two new models – iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus are only going to be base models, and according to Kuo, new iPhone 8 sits at the top. Some of the main characteristics of the new iPhone 8 will be OLED display and wireless charging, and what is interesting, there will be no home button.

But what about the prices? As far as we know the new 7S and 7S Plus will have the same price tag as the two current smartphones which cost $649 – $969. However, the brand-new iPhone 8 will cost more than that, without any doubt. But Apple doesn’t seem to be afraid to raise prices if they believe that their products deserve it. One of the predictions suggests that top of the line model with 256 GB of storage could go for up to $1,200.
