Are The Giants or Packers Better Opponent For The Cowboys?

Going into these Playoffs in the NFC and knowing the seeds, everybody is expecting the Seahawks to beat the Lions. Even though Seattle has had some problems as of late, Lions have lost three straight going into the postseason, and not many people think that they can stun the ‘Hawks at Century Link Field.

That means that the Dallas Cowboys will be facing the winner of the matchup between Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers and Eli Manning-led New York Giants. Dallas has been great against the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 6 while the Giants have already beaten them twice this season, even though both of those duels were highly contested and close.

New York Giants offense looks broken. Eli Manning doesn’t really look the same, and it seems that they depend on Odell Beckham Jr. and his play-making ability as well as that defense that has been one of the best in the NFL in the second half of the season.

On the other hand, we have the Packers and their offense that is red-hot at this moment. Rodgers hasn’t thrown a single pick in the last seven games, while he threw 18 TDs in that time span. This is not the same team from Week 6.

That is why we think that the Giants are a better opponent for the Cowboys. They have beaten them twice, but it’s hard to beat a team three times in the same year. Yes, they have lost two times to this Giants team, but Dallas could have easily won both of those matches as they lost 20:19 and 10:7. Packers offense and Aaron Rodgers are on a roll so the Dallas Cowboys should want to avoid meeting with them in the postseason.
