Ferrari J50 Coupe Has Been Rendered and It Looks Fabulous

The Ferrari J5 Roadster was introduced a few days ago, but it appears that Remco Meulendiijk, a Dutch independent artist of RM design, already used Photoshop to create its own version of this attractive car. The new J50 is based on the 488 Spider, but its looks more aggressive and it is assembled to mark 50 years of Ferrari Japan.

According to Ferrari spokespersons, only ten units of the J50 will be assembled. However, they said nothing about using a fixed roof instead of the two-piece Targa top, and if this car goes into production, it will be sold in a matter of days despite the high price tag.

The J50 is equipped with the biturbo 3.9-liter V8, and it produces 690 horses, which is 20 more compared to the regular 488 Spider, and 560 lb-ft of torque, but have in mind that the torque figure has yet to be confirmed. We don’t know if we are ever going to see the J50 in a coupe version, but it would be great if Italian supercar maker decided to produce at least a few of these because the renders look amazing.

Ferrari says that the J50 “heralds a radically futuristic design language, with a highly distinctive personality that suits the tastes of a clientele that seeks the utmost in innovative styling.”
