Ezekiel Elliot Involved In A Car Accident

Ezekiel Elliot was one of the best Cowboys’ players in his first pro year. He has been sensational all season long. In Week 6, his team traveled to Green Bay and faced the Packers at Lambeau Field. The running game was a gib factor against the Green Bay Packers in their first matchup, and everyone expects that it’s going to be the focal point of the game in this Divisional Round duel between these two squads.

But, the week has really started off on a wrong foot for Dallas’ running back. This is not how he wants to prepare for not only a big Playoff game but for his first postseason appearance in that young career.

The Dallas Cowboys rookie running back was involved in a minor, two-car crash around 7 AM EST in Frisco, Texans, Frisco Police Dept. spokesman Benito Valdez confirmed to NFL.com.

It appears that no injuries were sustained in that crash as both parties involved went on their way a short time later, Valdez said. Dallas Cowboys’ head coach Jason Garrett later told reporters that the minor accident happened about a mile away from the team’s facility, per NFL Network’s Jane Slater.

Ezekiel Elliot has gone on Twitter and stated that he is alright and that he has had even worse crashes. At the end of the day, the most important thing is the fact that All-Pro back is okay and will be just as good as new for the showdown with the Green Bay Packers.
