Dwayne Johnson vs. Giant Monsters In First Rampage Trailer

Source:fandango.com

Dwayne has a “few” new projects that he has been working on, and one of them is a movie Rampage (we mentioned it in some early posts). This time our favorite wrestler-turned-actor is on a mission to save the world, but this time bad guys are actually monsters. He will face a giant ape named George on the loose rampaging through the town, but guess what, George will have help from others like him.

If this is your first time finding out about Rampage, then you need to know that Dwayne is playing a primatologist who is closed and keeps people at a distance but shares a special bond with George who is a silverback gorilla and has been in his care since birth. To make this cute gorilla a huge destructive monster something bad has to happen, and if you’re smelling a rouge genetic experiment, then your nose is right. Thanks to some genetic tinkering this gorilla pet turns into a raging creature of enormous size, but as we already mentioned, he brought similarly genetically altered friends to the party. So far the trailer revealed a ” 30-foot wolf” and “a giant crocodile.”

The movie is action-packed and promises a lot of mindless destruction. Probably that is why the name Rampage was so suited. This film will star Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan alongside P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, and Matt Gerald. It is directed by the same man that did San Andreas, Brad Peyton, and screenplay belongs to Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan J. Condal, and Adam Sztykiel. The story is delivered by Ryan Engle, and as it was announced earlier it will be based on the good old, and very familiar arcade game of the same name. The film is produced by Beau Flynn, John Rickard, Hiram Garcia, and Peyton, and thanks to the trailer we found out that Rampage hits theaters on April 20th.

Check out the trailer below, you will love it! We know we did, and we are looking forward to some more.
