Deadpool has had an enormously successful year, and for that reason, many people assumed that Reynolds would be getting at least one Oscar nomination for his part. Unfortunately, despite all the expectations that would delight many fans of the movie, this did not happen. However, Reynolds does not bear a grudge against the other movies that did receive this extraordinary recognition. He actually posted this on his Twitter:

“Regularly scheduled tickle-fight at Camp #Deadpool is still on. Congrats to all the nominees for these brilliant films. #Oscars2017.”

Before the very nominations, he declared that he would post some crazy photo provided the movie got the nomination. But he might just do it anyways.

Rob Liefeld also expressed his happiness, and he gave his regards to Marvel Studios and DC Films on the nominations. “Congrats to comic book films Doctor Strange and Suicide Squad on their nominations!” Doctor Strange received a nomination for the Best Visual Effects while Suicide Squad received it for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

This popular movie’s storyline presents us Wade Wilson, a man who has embraced his alter ego, Deadpool due to the experiment he was a part of. This experiment left some consequences behind such as his healing powers. After this, he moves on to find the man guilty for his state.
