The future of Deadpool was written down even before its first movie became a large hit with great reviews. Therefore, 20th Century Fox gave approval to its sequel. And it is now well-known that Cable will be brought to Deadpool 2, to the delight of many fans. The popularity of the movie also inspired fan art maestro BossLogic to experiment on how completely unlikely actors would look like this character.

One may be surprised by this fan art’s decision to present Keira Knightley as Cable. In order for this move not to be wrongly interpreted, it is important to mention that Deadpool team is still to cast the actor to be playing Cable.

In fact, Merc with the Mouth has just making guesses on who would be the perfect one for this role. At first, he mentioned Mel Gibson and Dolph Lundgren who could fit in this character quite nicely. And then came along his third proposition, Ms. Keira Knightley. If we take a look at the art, this might not sound all that wrong, and we certainly could like it.

On his Twitter account, Stephen Lang started his campaign for the role of Cable in the next installment. This type of using social media to become a part of one project has been pretty successful in the last few years. To be honest, second option of these two has better chances of scoring the role but still, we can’t be certain who will be getting it at the end.

On the other hand, Ryan Reynolds is definitely coming back as Merc With the Mouth, but the return of the rest of the crew is uncertain. Among the members of the original team we have: Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Olesia Shewchuk, Style Dayne, Rachel Sheen and Dan Zachary.

The studio also has another two projects in the plan, and those are New Mutants and X-Men 7, but their production still hasn’t started.
