John Cena is now in the mainstream and is not with the company all the time like he used to be for so many years. He is getting up there in age as he is slowly but surely entering that legend status in the world of WWE. Right now, the argument can be made that this guy is a true part-time talent and is treated as a special attraction. He has battled so many superstars and yet there are still some big matches that he can do. Here are some duels that John Cena can still take on.

John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – This is actually something that is being rumored right now for either Summerslam or maybe Wrestlemania next year. Just like AJ Styles did, Nakamura is going to need that one big win and one big feud under his belt in order for him to really rise up the ranks on the main roster and get over with some casual fans that are really not familiar with the King Of Strong Style. This match is going to happen sooner rather than later.

John Cena vs. Samoa Joe – Just like a feud with Nakamura, this isn’t just our fantasy. This was rumored to be the first feud for Joe on the main roster as he was supposed to go to Smackdown Live and battle Cena at Wrestlemania 33. The plans have changed, and Joe was put on Raw, but that still doesn’t mean that these guys won’t cross paths in the future.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns – The match in which two of the most pushed stars in the 2000s is going to happen sooner or later. There is no way that WWE passes up this fight. If they do, it is throwing the money down the toilet. No matter how the fans feel about these wrestlers, they are two of the biggest stars that the company has right now and it would be foolish for them not to fully exploit this fact and their popularity.
