The injury of Braun Strowman is affecting many people as it has a ripple effect on the Monday Night Raw’s roster. As you maybe already know, Reigns and Strowman were set to fight at the Extreme Rules pay per view event. It was supposed to be an Ambulance Match that Roman Reigns was going to lose.

From there on Braun Strowman was planned to move on to Brock Lesnar and challenge the Beast Incarnate for the Universal Championship at the next red branded PPV event which is going to be The Great Balls of Fire pay per view.

Roman, well, he was supposed to be working with The Miz. Yes, that is exactly right. It really sounds weird, but The Miz has went from being a true jobber before the Wrestlemania 32 to be one of the biggest players on the WWE’s roster after his brilliant work with the IC Title on the Smackdown Live.

Now, with Strowman being injured and Reigns without an opponent for the Extreme Rules, the company might be in a hurry to put him into the next feud. Right now, the reports are saying that WWE could do Reigns vs. The Miz earlier than anyone expected. That might be the reason for Dean Ambrose having to defend the title against The Miz next week as opposed to defending his title at the Extreme Rules PPV. The company might want to hurry up and put the belt on The A-Lister for this guy to be feuding with their main man later.

We will find out what is next for Roman really soon. The company has enough time to build all of this properly and to make sense of the situation using everything to their advantage. Right now, it looks like Roman is going to challenge, and most likely win, the IC Title on Monday Night Raw.
