Best Cornerbacks In The Draft For The Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the whole NFL, and we don’t expect them to change a lot on that side of the ball. But, when it comes to defense, they needed a to make some moves this offseason. So far, they failed to make an impact when it comes to the improvement on D while they lost a lot of players in their defensive backfield.

Morris Claiborne is not a member of the Dallas Cowboys anymore, and he was team’s best cornerback last season. Speaking of the guys that are not on the team anymore, Brandon Carr is another CB that has left the Big D in Free Agency, weakening the cornerback position even more. On top of that all, safety Barry Church has also decided to look the other way as he left in Free Agency as well.

All of this makes it clear that Dallas will be looking to add corners via the Draft. There are some good ones in the draft, but which are the best?

When we are talking about the CB and the guys that can help the defensive side which needs to be improved during the draft, we need to discuss Marshon Lattimore. He is right now the best option, and the Dallas Cowboys will need to spend a high-round draft choice to get him. They have put themselves in the situation in which they are desperate for a cornerback, and they just might pull the trigger on Lattimore.

Sidney Jones is another corner that was considered one of the best, if not the best in this class. But, he suffered an injury during his pro day and has started to slide on the draft boards. If the Cowboys want to take a risk on him, they can wait and get him maybe in the second or the third round. He is talented, but that injury is something to think about and be very cautious.

Other guys that Dallas can look at are Marlon Humphrey, Kevin King, Gareon Conley and Fabian Moreau.
