Atlanta Falcons vs. Denver Broncos – Week 5 Picks And Predictions

This is one of the best matchups of Week 5. And a must see one. Are the Falcons for real? Can they keep with murdering opponent’s defenses? Or does that stop on Sunday as they are going up against the best defense in the NFL? And yes, Broncos are the Super Bowl champions.

Falcons have been impressive so far. Their offense is clicking on all cylinders. Matty Ice and Julio Jones had connected on a lot of plays this season, especially this past Sunday in which Ryan had 500 passing yards while Jones had 300 receiving yards. Just unbelievable stats. And that was against Carolina.

It will be interesting to see one of the best defenses going up against one of the best offenses. Falcons probably only trail the Steelers when it comes to offensive firepower, but their dual running attack with Freeman and Coleman can make the difference on any given Sunday and decide the game in their favor.

Broncos are still undefeated and are looking to continue their streak against Atlanta. They will be playing on their home turf. Trevor Siemian got injured last week, and he is still questionable for this duel. They are going to need him as Falcons are hot right now and, who knows, Matt Ryan might be the first quarterback to outplay this Broncos defense.

If Siemian doesn’t play, Paxton Lynch will step up in the starting lineup. Even with him, we think this defense is good enough to stop Atlanta in Mile High City. If this game was in Georgia and Siemian was out, we would have picked the Falcons. But, since it isn’t we are rolling with the Broncos to win in 21:20. Siemian’s absence could make this game very interesting. Don’t miss it.
