5 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserve A Title

Source:wrestlezone.com

WWE is specific and it differs from other sports in a way that being the best wrestler doesn’t necessarily mean that you will get the hold of the championship. To be honest, upsets happen in other sports as well, but the WWE offers so much drama and even someone who is the outsider can end up winning a championship. As Vince McMahon stated, he loves “to create new stars” so who will have the most chance of winning a title in 2017?

Wrestlers such as Triple-H, John Cena, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton don’t need to win it this year. Some of the overlooked superstars will get a chance to become World Champions in 2017, or it should be some of the rising stars. We present you five wrestlers that deserve a title this year.

1. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was the MVP of Raw last year, and he was one of those performers whom people loved to watch in the ring. Also, he is one of the best mic workers as well. Rumor has it that Chris Jericho could leave after WrestleMania 33, despite the fact that this guy signed an agreement. But if he decides to stay, he is definitely a favorite of winning a title.

Chris Jericho, also known as Y2J, will definitely be remembered as a great performer, but we will never forget him losing to Evan Bourne and Heath Slater in important fights. Nevertheless, his credibility remains unstained. Jericho is close to retirement, and we would love to watch him winning the title.

2. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler was a world champion back in 2013, but he has never had a legitimate World title reign. His first run ended up so fast that he couldn’t even enjoy it, while his second one ended because of a concussion he suffered from. Now Ziggler is a 36-year-old performer, and even he declared that 2017 might be the last year for him.

However, he can always give up on the retirement plans and continue to compete. Even if he doesn’t win a title in 2017, he will not be the first superstar who deserved it, but who hasn’t had a genuine World title run. We will see what he can do this season.

3. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn can do it all, and he can do it well. However, WWE has forgotten about this guy and his abilities as we only had a chance to watch him in the large storyline with Braun Strowman. We feel bad for Zayn because, in the NXT, he proved his worth and he definitely deserves to be a champion. Don’t forget about his matches against Kevin Owens at Battleground and Fatal 4-Way at Extreme Rules.

The crowd loves him, as he is the man who can take a beating like nobody else can. He belongs in the main event, and hopefully, the WWE will recognize that in 2017. He only had a few opportunities, and he used those shots in the best way possible. Just give this guy a chance and watch him go to work!

4. The Miz

The Miz is the one who made the Intercontinental Championship important. He fought against Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose and to him, the IC belt was important just like the WWE Championship. The Miz may be the one of the most hated in the business, but winning the WWE Championship is the next logical step.

In 2011, the Miz flopped as WWE Champion, but ever since then, he developed as a person and as a wrestler. He definitely deserves to win a title.

5. Bray Wyatt

If you think about it, it is surprising to see Bray Wyatt without a title. His career is stained by missed opportunities, and we started to doubt whether he will ever hold a title in his hands. He is one of the unique characters in the world of wrestling, and we would love to watch him fight with a belt around his waist.

When he fought against John Cena and Daniel Bryan he proved that he is definitely capable of winning a title. We need to take into consideration that John Cena is becoming a part-time performer and that AJ Styles and Randy Orton are close to ending their careers. This is important for Wyatt because he can become a central figure of WWE and it would be much easier if he becomes a champion.
