LB Prospect Rashaan Evans Visits Cowboys

One of the best linebacker prospects at the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft, Rashaan Evans is visiting Cowboys. Player of his profile and ability would be a perfect fit in Big D.

After Anthony Hitchens left for Kansas City Chiefs, America’s Team needs a player at the position and Evans would be the right answer for that call. Because of this, it’s no wonder that Dallas franchise wanted to meet with the player at Star in Frisco. With Draft being close, pre-draft visits give a clear sign in which player an team is interested. Cowboys have a linebacker need, and LB Evans is coming for a visit, they definitely want this guy. Dallas holds No19 pick, and it’s is still unclear if a player of this profile will be there for taking when their turn comes around.

Looking back at previous drafts, Dallas Cowboys have a tendency to pick players that came in for a visit. There is a possibility that they will trade up for a man they want. In addition to Evans, another prospect in their sight is safety, Derwin James. With ten picks available in 2018 and entire 2019 class at their disposal Cowboys can move up into top 10 with ease.

The top 5 spots in the draft are reserved for four quarterbacks, and one running back. All NFL analysts agree on this. Within first 15 picked two more quarterbacks will be taken. Because of quality of QB class player such as Rashaan Evans might fall to Cowboys. This wouldn’t be a case if there weren’t so much need for a franchise QBs. Teams that are expected to land a quarterback in the draft are Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and possibly the Giants (they are forerunners for RB Saquon Barkley), Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, and Miami Dolphins. All these teams select players before Cowboys.

If all things turn out right, a player that just visited Cowboys facilities might be their future LB. Linebackers corps consisting of Sean Lee, Jaylon Smith, Joe Thomas, and Rashaan Evans would give opposing offenses heaps of problems.
