The Project One will sport a hybrid drivetrain that comes from F1. The engine that will power this car will be the turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 together with a KERS energy recovery system that can be found in the W07 race car. The complete output of the system will be almost 1,000 horsepower at more than 10,000 rpm while the vehicle will be equipped with a 4WD system and the electric motors will drive the front axle.

The rendering you can see here are created by Peisert Design, and they used the official teaser photos to show us what the Project One might look like. Based on the new images, we have a low and long two-seater with a really narrow interior that has room for two people.

The rear end of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG Project One is basically the huge exit for all the hot air that is coming from the engine system. Mercedes-AMG plans to introduce this car at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September and deliveries will start in the middle of 2018. Even though this is an expensive vehicle, it will be sold in the blink of an eye and will easily find its way to many private collections.
