New generation 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro had appeared on the market and one does not simply wait to test this car. The last generation was launched as the 2015MY and the new car compensates for some of the disadvantages. Toyota has upgraded the new model so it can become a leader among off-road midsize trucks.

The 2017 model sees some updates such as FOX off-road racing shocks and large, hulky tires. In addition, this car is equipped with a cat-back exhaust system, underbody skid plates and higher ground clearance.

Although there are some additions of the new features and changes in the exterior, the engine remains the same as in the rest of Tacoma models. A 3.5-liter D-4S V6 is located under the hood and it is rated at 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque.

A six-speed automatic gearbox is standard, but the company offers a six-speed manual and car with this transmission costs from $40,720. A Limited Slip Differential is inserted in the vehicle whereas the suspension is set for high speeds on rough roads.

An interesting feature Toyota added to the car is Crawl Control. It uses ABS brakes and traction control to retain certain speed which had been set before.
