Honda is famous for many cars that they proudly make and own, but one, in particular, makes the company name stand out and it is theirs CR-V compact SUV which is one of the best on the market and one of those that have a long history. The CR-V has been around for almost 20 years, and to some, it may not be that nice and sleek on the outside, but the interior is a different story and boy it has lots to say. Same was expected and was delivered by 2017 Honda CR-V.

The interior of 2017 Honda CR-V

The 2017 Honda CR-V has increased in size somewhat, and it translates to additional 1.2 inches in length, 1.4 inches in width and 1.4 inches in height. As with every car, this means that new CR-V gained additional space inside and it is a whole two cubic feet more which again translates into added legroom that will allow passengers at the back to ride more comfortably. The CR-V has another trick up its sleeve, and it is apparently a button that regulates drop-down rear seatbacks which allow an increase in cargo space. Normally the 2017 Honda CR-V has 39 cubic feet of space but with this feature that space almost doubles to 76 cubic feet.

Engine and the economy

Honda is offering two engine options for its compact SUV. The base trim of the vehicle, according to reports, will host a 2.4 L 4 cylinder VTEC engine that delivers 184 HP and 180 pound-feet of torque. This one will be attached to the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that is going to send all that power through front wheel drive as standard or the optional all-wheel drive. The other option is the turbocharged 1.5 L that can offer its owner 190 HP and 179 pound-feet of torque. This is better engine when it comes to the economy and is able to return fuel economy of 27/33/29 miles per gallon in the city/highway/combined respectively, while the somewhat more thirsty 2.4 L 4 cylinder VTEC engine will return 26/32/28 MPG city/highway/combined.

When all the things, such as extra room and a better fuel economy, are considered the 2017 Honda CR-V is an incredible vehicle.
